Production Notes

The AW-1A1 Rigel is a mass-produced assault walker, serving as the main assault walker of the heavily mechanized Heliadonian Imperial Army. It is known for it's very radical design, which goes far from its humanoid fighter roots.

Built under the extreme climate and low-gravity conditions of Mars, the Rigel sports a rather strange appearance. It's light build and hybrid articulation legs emphasizes speed and mobility, which is further enhanced by twin jet boosters featuring directional nozzles. It's elongated head meanwhile, sports multiple interchangeable sensor arrays and a small radome for the squadron commander. Also, the Rigel has its cockpit positioned at its back—a radical design concept that gives emphasis to the pilot's survival but jeopardizes the machine's powerplant by putting it in the highly vulnerable front instead.

The Rigel's powerplant is a hydrogen engine similar to that of Earth terrorwalks, only with better insulation to cope with Martian extracolonial temperatures.

Like any other mass-produced terrorwalk, the Rigel is expected to fill in almost every single niche in the battlefield. As such, it was built with versatility, as well as speed and mobility in mind. The Rigel's design became the standard of Heliadon's terrorwalks.

The Rigel was produced in large quantities, and became infamous on its debut during the Heliadonian invasion of Earth, also known as Operation Blue.

-The Rigel is named after the brightest star in the constellation Orion

There you go. I've just colored the Rigel with the same color scheme I used for Regulus [link] . I sort of rushed the coloring here so i won't be surprised if you guys can find some missing shades or mispainted areas.
